MSN VIRUS? HERE IS THE SOLUTION!

Your computer keeps sending these in your name as well?

That means your computer is infected,
and others might know your MSN password!

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM!

STEP 1  —  CHANGE YOUR MSN PASSWORD!

  1. Visit your Live account's settings page at http://account.live.com!
  2. If you are asked for a password, type in your MSN username and password!
  3. After logging in, click Change in the middle column next to Password!
  4. Type your current MSN password in the Old password field!
  5. Think of a new password which is at least 8 characters long and randomly contains letters and numbers!
  6. Type this new password in the Type new password text box!
  7. Confirm your password in the Retype new password field!
  8. Click Save!
  9. Log out using the Sign out link in the top right corner!

STEP 2  —  RUN MSN VIRUS REMOVER!

  1. Navigate to http://msnvirusremoval.com/download!
  2. Click Download MSN Virus Remover in the bottom left corner of the page!
  3. Save the file to your computer! You should save it to the desktop to find it easier!
  4. After the download finished, launch the program! You can safely ignore the security warnings!
    Click here if it does not start under Vista or Windows 7!
  5. The program first checks for updates. Then the START button turns green.
  6. Before starting the scan, make sure you have closed all other running applications!
  7. Click START, and select the desktop in the next window!
  8. Now the program will try to detect and remove known MSN viruses from your computer!
  9. Please restart your computer after cleaning!

STEP 3  —  RUN MALWAREBYTES' ANTI-MALWARE!

  1. Navigate to http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1186760019!
  2. Click Download now on the top of the page!
  3. Save the file to your computer! You should save it to the desktop to find it easier!
  4. Double-click the installer and install the program! Don't forget to restart the computer afterwards!
  5. After restarting launch the program from the Start menu!
  6. Upon first start it will check for updates.
    Close the small window when it is completed!
  7. Before starting the scan, make sure you have closed all other running applications!
  8. Select Perform full scan on the Scanner tab and click Scan!
  9. The scanner will now check all files on your computer. Click Show results after completion!
  10. If there is an infection, you will get a list of the affected files. Click Remove selected to clean your system!
  11. Please restart your computer after cleaning!

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED THE VIRUS!

How to avoid becoming a victim?

  • Never ever click on links in messages you get unexpectedly!
  • If you get a file without any notice, do NOT download and do NOT open it!
    If you are not completely sure about it, ask your buddy if he sent the file!
  • ONLY enter your MSN username and password in the Messenger login window and at login.live.com!
  • NEVER enter your password on any other sites, even if the availability of a feature depends on it!

How can I join the fight against MSN viruses?

  • The most important: clean your own account at the first place!
  • Each time you get a spam from someone on MSN, send him this text:
    WARNING! YOUR COMPUTER IS SENDING SPAM IN YOUR NAME!
    That means it is infected with a virus and others might know your MSN password!
    Visit http://msn.solymosi.eu/en for the solution!

    Tehát akkor semmi más problémát nem kozhat azon kívül, hogy idegesít kicsit? Mert akkor kibírom. :D Egyébként most léptem be a profilomba és beállítottam, hogy senki ne kereshessen meg, szóval gondolom innentől kezdve bárki, aki megtalál MSN-n, az mind spam lesz.

    Ez valószínűleg azt jelenti, hogy az MSN címed bekerült valamilyen spammer adatbázisba. Ha nagyon idegesít, akkor sajnos az egyetlen megoldás az MSN cím váltás :(

    Üdvözletem!

    Annak idején én is megfertőződtem MSN vírussal és az ezen az oldalon található információk alapján sikerült is megszabadulnom tőle. Köszönöm. Viszont most más gyanús dolog történt. Egy ideje, teljesen ismeretlen hotmailes címek jelölnek be ismerősként. Az első cím még értelmes betűkombináció volt, de a második csak egy betűhalmaz. Nem tudom, hogy ön Máté, vagy akárki más találkozott-e már ilyesmivel? Amennyiben nem jó helyre írtam a dolgot, úgy elnézést kérek, ha viszont jó helyre, akkor előre is köszönöm a válaszokat.

    Rebique: ha esetleg nem sikerülne, vegyél fel msn-en, és megoldjuk.
    Ez a vírus, ami mostanában terjed, kézzel kb. 10 perc alatt hatástalanítható.
